Funding high-quality research is central to our mission. We are committed to supporting scientific and medical research that has the potential to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of Bruck Syndrome.
Our research programme is governed by a formal Research Funding Policy to ensure our process is fair, transparent, and robust.
Expert Oversight: Our programme is overseen by our Board of Trustees, who are advised by an independent Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) made up of leading researchers, clinicians, and patient representatives.
Peer Review: All funding applications will undergo a rigorous, independent peer review process. This ensures that we only fund research that is of the highest scientific quality, is feasible, and has the greatest potential to benefit patients.
Public Benefit: A core condition of our funding is that the useful results of all research must be published and shared publicly, so that the knowledge gained can benefit the entire community.
Information on future grant rounds and how to apply will be published here once the charity is registered and the programme is open.
