Help us improve life for people with Bruck Syndrome.
Last Updated: 16 October 2026
Governed by our Sourcing Expert Information Policy (v1.1), Operational Strategy (v1.1 Section 4), and Section 3.2 of DOC-01, every Bruck Syndrome health information resource is developed and reviewed with qualified healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary experts from multiple organisations.
How We Select & Verify Experts (Minimum Standard): All clinical reviewers must hold active statutory registration with their relevant UK professional body (e.g., General Medical Council [GMC] Specialist Register for clinical geneticists, paediatricians, and orthopaedic surgeons; Health and Care Professions Council [HCPC] for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and clinical psychologists; Nursing and Midwifery Council [NMC] for specialist nurses) and demonstrable experience in metabolic bone disorders, arthrogryposis, genetics, or paediatric rehabilitation.
Multidisciplinary & Multi-Organisation Input (Desirable Standard): Because Bruck Syndrome affects bones, joints, mobility, genetics, and emotional wellbeing, we combine reviews from our independent Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC), practicing NHS/specialist clinicians, public health/clinical medicine volunteer expertise (Ms Muskan Abedin), SEN/clinical psychology expertise (Ms Soyinglo Shitiri), and partner umbrella bodies (Genetic Alliance UK).
